Is entertainment the purpose of life?

For one hour spent on the study table, there is a need to relax and watch television for at least two hours.

For six hours spent in school, there is an urgent entitlement to play the latest play station or make new scores on video games.

I calculated that my daughter’s school will remain open for 152 days this year which gives her a whopping 213 days with me.I feel more restless as I realize that she is the happiest when she is with some electronic gadget which keeps her occupied by offering pseudo challenges of creating a town or a farm ,manageable through a few mighty clicks.

I constantly feel that the need to have fun and the desire to feel entertained is rising exponentially. Each day should be fun which means full of tech-invasion.when and how did “having fun” become the motto of life sending in oblivion everything else that mattered.
